Kepler's laws of planetary motion confirmed that the Earth and other planets move in elliptical orbits, and not in perfect circles. Inspired by this discovery, the chic Orbit candleholder invokes the shape of planetary trajectories with an elliptical bobeche perched on each of the three bases.
